The NDIS has introduced new rules about what participants can spend their funding on. While many people who manage their plans have heard about these rules, there’s still a lot of confusion about how they actually work in practice.

In this recorded workshop, we explained the changes clearly. We discussed how the rules are being applied, what choices participants still have, and how to make informed decisions when purchasing supports.

In this session, we:

Went over the support lists and clarified common questions

Explained the replacement rule using real-life examples

Talked about how the rules might affect your choices when using your plan

Took participant questions, including ones they’d like the NDIA to answer (Note: we aimed to get answers to general questions that could help others too)
